From Concept to Upkeep, The Landscape Design Center is There For You, Every Step of the Way
We LOVE landscaping! Obviously, if our name is The Landscape Design Center. But what does Landscaping mean? Well, to us, it mainly means plant combinations, color coordination, plantscapes, accentuating hardscapes, and much more! This is the part of our job where we get to watch your outdoor space come to life! This doesn’t have to be just with new plants, though. We will happily incorporate your prized heirloom plant material, or garden element, into our designs. Whether it is mom’s 30-year old Iris, or grandpa’s statue from Japan, we can carefully relocate in any new design.
We can also incorporate outdoor lighting, craft patios and walkways create specialized gardens, install water features, and more! AND all this work is completed ‘in house’ using all our own crews!
Having one company create, install and maintain your Landscape Design is the key to a successful, and cohesive outcome.
Along with a new landscape installation comes the matter of maintenance. Some of our clients have been with us from day one. That’s because after investing in your property, you will want a knowledgeable team maintaining that investment. We offer monthly, bimonthly, yearly and in between maintenance plans. Everyone is different, so we try to accommodate with different programs.
The Landscape Design Center will work with you to create a customized and comprehensive Maintenance Program, ensuring that your investment will be protected. This is not a traditional monthly maintenance program. We will price your maintenance out as needed. That way, if there are any changes along the way, we can adjust for them.
You will find our crews pruning by hand, we do not use mechanized pruners, as this is very bad for plant material. Also, different plants require pruning at different times of the year. You will never see us pruning at the wrong time because we need work or because it ‘fits’ our schedule. If it isn’t a good time to prune….we won’t. Period. We understand the life cycles of plant material and we prefer to promote the flourishing and survival of our client’s outdoor spaces.
